My name is Layla and I am an emerging artist located in the sunny coast of Western Australia. My pieces come together to take part in an emotional portrayal of nostalgia.

I often find inspiration in the mundane objects that take up more emotional space than physical, the items that mean more to you than they are worth. The inherent memories attached to these objects are more powerful than you realise as they pay homage to the person you once were. They offer a story, a feeling and a realisation of growth, all while creating a whole different feeling to another.
