Crumpld offers a new perspective on a once thoughtless and mundane element to our much too important and consumerist life. The receipt is considered as both a record of transaction and a vessel for memory. Ordinarily a receipt is designed to be temporary, often discarded within moments, yet it can quietly hold the weight of an experience – where we were, who we were with, what we chose in that fleeting instant, and all this emotional pull from something that another might deem rubbish.
